Ingredients for Japanese Cheesecake
⅔ cup milk
⅔ cup sugar
½ cup cream cheese
½ cup butter
½ cup flour
½ cup starch
8 egg yolks
13 egg whites
¼ spoon vanilla
Japanese cheesecake method
Preheat the oven before you start making the pie.
Place the milk, cheese and butter together on the stove and stir until you get a smooth and uniform texture.
Remove mixture from stove and let cool.
In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks and vanilla with an electric mixer for three minutes, then add the milk mixture with a quick whisk.
Add flour and starch and beat again.
Place the egg whites in a large bowl and beat with a mixer until creamy white.
Add sugar with a whisk.
Add a quarter of the egg whites to the flour mixture, then stir from bottom to top until the whites are completely gone.
Repeat until you run out of egg whites.
Place the dough on the baking sheet and then place it on the larger baking sheet.
Pour boiling water into a large baking sheet and place in the oven for 25 minutes.
Lower the oven temperature and leave it for another hour.
